Lithuania to provide 1,000 transit authorizations to carriers from Moldova

Chisinau, 26 May /MOLDPRES/ - Lithuania will provide Moldova with 1,000 transit authorization for the international transport of goods. Deputy Prime Minister, Infrastructure and Regional Development Minister Andrei Spinu has made statements to this effect today.

According to the official, the authorizations will be issued during one week. ‘’The acts are valid till 31 January 2023,’’ Spinu noted.

Following 24 February this year, when the war in Ukraine started, Lithuania backed the carriers of Moldova by various ways. It was among the first states to allow the transiting without authorizations for carrying out of the road transport of goods.
