Exhibition of drawn strips opened at Chisinau-based library

Chisinau, 30 May /MOLDPRES/ - An exhibition of drawn strips titled, The art which gives life to pictures, was opened at the National Library of Moldova (BNRM) today.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the head of the BNRM section, Collection or Arts and Maps, Rodica Baleanu, said the exhibition’s goal was to show to the wide public drawn strips of all categories and with different content from the Library’s collections, which shows the evolution of the art of drawing on strip, the history of the appearance of integral books of drawn strips, the types of drawn strips and the fields where they are used.

According to Baleanu, the exhibition comprises about 130 copies: documents (monographs, encyclopedias, dictionaries, albums, magazines, posters).

The exhibition will be opened till 25 August.
