Moldovan deputy PM for reintegration has meeting with Romanian Senate's President

Chisinau, 7 June /MOLDPRES/ - The good cooperation relations between Moldova and Romania, the developments and achievements marked in this process, as well as opportunities of development of mutual partnerships on aspects of common interest today were discussed at a working meeting between Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian and President of the Romanian Senate Florin Citu.
According to the Reintegration Policies Bureau, an object of the dialogue represented also subjects concerning the Transnistria-related issues, dynamic of the Chisinau-Tiraspol interaction, topical problems on the agenda of the negotiations, Chisinau’s approaches in this process and the assistance measures provided, in order to defend the fundamental rights and freedoms of the citizens in both banks of Dniester.
Also, the sides tackled also aspects of regional security, in the context of the crisis situation in Ukraine. The officials also expressed the need to synchronize efforts, in order to efficiently manage the flow of refugees from this state and maintain the atmosphere of peace and security.
