Exhibition dedicated to 30th anniversary of Moldovan-German relations inaugurated in Chisinau

Chisinau, June 9 / MOLDPRES /- An exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Federal Republic of Germany was inaugurated yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

In the opening of the event, MAEIE State Secretary Vladimir Cuc said that the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations is a good opportunity to reconfirm the commitments of the two countries. "We continue to rely on Germany's support to achieve our European path and to be reunited in the future with the families of the Member States of the European Union," he said.

Minister of Culture Sergiu Prodan said that Germany is a strategic partner of our country, including on the cultural dimension. "Diplomatic dialogue in the cultural field will help the continuous development of relations based on common values ​​at European and international level," he said.

In her speech, Claudia Roth, the German government's special representative for media and culture, reaffirmed her country's support for the implementation of bilateral projects. "At the same time, we thank you for the solidarity you have shown in the context of the refugee crisis caused by the war in Ukraine," the German official said.

The exhibition will be hosted by the ministry for two weeks, and later it will be exhibited in several public locations in Chisinau and other places in the country.
