Moldovan deputy premier meets Sweden's Ambassador

Chisinau, June 10 / MOLDPRES /- The dynamics of the negotiation process on the Transnistrian settlement, the current issues on the agenda of the dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol, as well as the positive positions / measures promoted by the Moldovan authorities to resolve the pressing issues of the people on both banks of the Dniester were discussed at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Moldova Katarina Fried, the Office for Reintegration Policy has reported.

The officials exchanged views on the role and impact of external assistance projects in promoting confidence-building measures and improving the human rights situation in the Transnistrian region, funded by the Swedish Government, including the need to assess their implementation mechanisms.
