Local elections' runoff held in three settlements of Moldova

Chisinau, 11 June /MOLDPRES/ - Over 6,500 electors today are expected to participate in the runoff of the local elections, held in three settlements of Moldova.

The ballot is carried out in the Glinjeni village, western Falesti district, Ghetlova village, central Orhei district and Zastanca village, northern Soroca district. Mayors are to be elected in these three settlements.

The first two candidates who got the largest number of votes at the elections from 29 May 2022 are put down on the ballot papers.

The polling stations were opened at 7:00 and will close at 21:00.

The voting at the runoff election is made based on the same electoral lists used in the first round of the ballot.
