About 100 families from Moldovan capital receive one-off financial assistance

Chisinau, 13 June /MOLDPRES/ - About 100 families from the Chisinau city have received one-off financial assistance worth up to 500 lei. The commission for establishing material aid at the Chisinau city hall has taken a decision to this effect.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the head of the medical and social assistance general department of the Chisinau city hall, Boris Galca, said that the assistance had been provided based on applications submitted by beneficiaries.

„More families have been selected following their assessment. Thus, the following categories of people benefited from financial support: elderly people, persons with disabilities, families with more children, low-income people and unemployed people,’’ Boris Galca noted.

The financial aid can be raised at desks of the Posta Moldovei (Moldova’s Post) State Enterprise.

As much as 38,000 lei (1,900 euros) was allocated from the municipal budget for providing the support.
