Meteorologists forecast moderate air temperatures, rains in places in Moldova this week

Chisinau, 13 June /MOLDPRES/ - The week which has started is expected to be with moderate air temperatures, which will not exceed +28 Celsius degrees, with thunderstorm rains in some regions, the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has reported.

According to meteorologists, on 14 June, the day-time air temperatures will oscillate between +23 and +28 degrees. At night, the air temperatures will drop to +18 degrees. Thunderstorm rains are expected especially in central Moldova also on 14 June.

On 15 June, the air temperatures will slightly decrease and will increase starting from 16 June. Rains with different intensity, depending on the geographical zone, are expected all over Moldova as of 17 June.

According to SHS, the dog-days are to return starting from the next week.

Multiannual observations show that June is rainiest month of the year, with the average quantity of precipitation amounting to 62-95 mm and 10-13 days with precipitations.
