Cultural activities for people with sight, hearing deficiencies to be partially subsidized by state in Moldova

Chisinau, 15 June /MOLDPRES/ - The cultural activities and the services of counseling for people with sight and hearing deficiencies will be partially subsidized by the state, under a legislative initiative approved by the government today.
Under the document, the cultural and informing activities of the Republican Community Centre of Deaf People from Moldova and of the National Centre of Information and Rehabilitation of Blind People, from which the people with sight and hearing disabilities from all over Moldova benefit, will be partially subsidized from financial sources of the Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MMPS).
The two institutions organize cultural activities and provide services of information, training and counseling for all people with hearing and sight disabilities for the development of abilities due to help them easier integrate into the society.
Financial means worth 2.4 million lei (120,000 euros) will be necessary for the project’s implementation this year.
