Rate of successful passage of exams at Baccalaureate-2022 stands at about 85 per cent in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 June /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 11,070 candidates from lyceums, 4,184 candidates from colleges and centres of excellence, 221 candidates from universities, 146 candidates who registered in external regime and 2,088 people who failed to pass their exams at previous sessions – 17,709 candidates in all – have been admitted to the 2022 Baccalaureate session. The Education Ministry today made statements to this effect, in the context of making public the results of the Baccalaureate examination from this year.
According to the institution, the rate of successful passage of exams by lyceum graduates is of 84.34 per cent. Thus, 9,336 out of the 11,070 lyceum pupils successfully passed the Baccalaureate examination.
The number of candidates with average mark equal or higher than 8 is of 3,153, against 3,026 in 2021 and 857 candidates have average mark higher or equal to 9, against 725 in 2021.
Forty three candidates have got the mark 10 at the Baccalaureate exam so far, against 16 in 2021.
At the same time, at this session, four candidates were eliminated from the examination for fraud.
On 27-28 June 2022, the candidates who disagree with the marks got can submit appeals at Baccalaureate Centres during 9:00-18:00. On the same period, each candidate will able to verify the tests verified on the webpage www.bac.gov.md, based on the passport provided by the education institution where they studied.
The final results of the session will be announced on 4 July, after the appeals are considered.
The additional session of the Baccalaureate examination will be held on 18-25 July.
