Over 15,000 travel cards for public transport of Moldovan capital sold during three days

Chisinau, 27 June /MOLDPRES/ - Over 15,000 new travel cards for public transport in the Moldovan capital were sold in the first three days after the starting of their commercialization. The head of the public transport and communication means department of the Chisinau city hall, Vitalie Mihalache, today made statements to this effect at an operative meeting of the municipal services.

According to Mihalache, over 12,000 travel cards were sold on the first day of sale.

The price of one travel card is of 234 lei per month, 594 lei for three months and 972 lei for six months. The placement of the points of sale of travel cards can be accessed both on the website of the Chisinau Electric Transport Administration and on the one Urban Park of Buses.

Starting from 1 July, the price of one travel ticket by trolley bus and bus will be 6 lei in Chisinau and its suburbs. The tariff for one travel by mini-bus in the capital will be 6 lei. This price will be valid in the area of the Chisinau city, while to move outside the city, 0.4 lei for each kilometer of travel will be paid, but not more than 12 lei for the entire area of the Chisinau municipality.
