Access of transport means to parks from Chisinau to be limited

Chisinau, 27 June /MOLDPRES/ - The access of transport means to the parks from the Chisinau municipality will be limited through setting obstacles. The deputy mayor of the capital, Ilie Ceban, today made statements to this effect at an operative meeting of the municipal services.

According to the deputy mayor, following the carrying out of more verifications on the spot, the authorities had found out that vehicles stand on some access ways in parks, which thus deteriorate the turf and the irrigation system.

„There are enough parking places nearby parks. Therefore, I ask to set obstacles, in order to limit the access of vehicles to the park. Only specialized vehicles providing the parks’ sanitation will be able to enter parks,’’ Ceban noted.

At the same time, the deputy mayor asked to verify all playgrounds for children from the Moldovan capital’s parks, so that they meet the safety norms.
