Forty young people of Moldova to make training probationaries for the first time ever

Chisinau, 27 June /MOLDPRES/ - Forty seven students, people training for master’s degree and young graduates will make training probationaries at public institutions during two months, due to a pilot programme of scholarships launched by the European Union, in partnership with Moldova’s government.
According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the foundationers were selected at a contest, which consisted in an exam on files, followed by interviews with the evaluation commission, made up of representatives of the European Union’s Delegation and Moldova’s cabinet. The young people starting from today will begin their probation at one of the state’s institutions: ministries, subordinated agencies, as well as at the National Bank, Service for the Prevention and Combating of Money Laundering, Presidential Institution.
The foundationers in their daily activity will be guided by High-Level Advisers of the European Union and will work together with civil servants. The programme’s main goal is to give young people opportunity to learn, from the first source, what the work in the public service implies and to get aptitudes which will enhance their chances of employment after finishing the education.
Attending the introductory meeting on the launch of the pilot initiative of scholarships were Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita and Ambassador of the European Union in Chisinau Jānis Mažeiks, who welcomed the young people’s perseverance.
The initiative was launched in the context of the European Year of Youth 2022, in order to encourage young people’s participation in all social, economic and administrative activities.
The programme of scholarships is financed by the European Union.
