Money norm to provide dinner to pupils from vocational education institutions to be increased by 20 per cent

Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers, at a today’s meeting, approved an increase by 20 per cent of the money norm for providing the dinner of the pupils from the secondary vocational education institutions for 2022, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

Thus, the financial means allocated by the cabinet for the nourishment of one pupil will increase from 12 lei to 14.40 lei per day starting from 1 September.

The pupils from the secondary vocational education institutions are provided with free of charge dinner during their education, except for the winter and summer vacations, production probationaries, as well as on holidays and days-off.

About 15,000 pupils study in the secondary vocational education institutions from Moldova.
