Moldovan Constitutional Court validates two MP mandates

Chisinau, 21 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Constitutional Court (CCM) today validated two MP mandates which belong to the Bloc of Communists and Socialists (BCS).
One lawmaker mandate became vacant, after MP Alla Dolinta had submitted an application on resignation on 11 July this year, while another mandate was declared vacant following the death of MP Elena Bodnarenco.
Thus, the vacant mandates were assigned to the next candidates on the BCS electoral list: jurist and economist Adrian Albu and political pundit Gaik Vartanean.
The CCM’s ruling enters into force on the date of adoption and is published in Moldova’s Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial).
