Moldovan National Anticorruption Centre's activity report for 2021 unveiled in parliament

Chisinau, 21 July /MOLDPRES/ - The director of the National Anticorruption Centre’s (CNA), Iulian Rusu, unveiled CNA’s activity report for 2021 in parliament today.
Under the document, in 2021, investigation officers detected 743 offences in terms passive corruption, influence peddling, active corruption, swindle, abuse of power and abuse of office.
The report contains information on the work of the Crime Assets Recovery Agency (ARBI), a structure of CNA. Last year, ARBI levied distraint on 865 assets worth 736.1 million lei (about 38.8 million euros) in all.
At the same time, the CNA leadership informed that, among the priorities for this year, there are: adjusting the legal and institutional framework to the international standards, prevention and combating of corruption in the management of foreign funds and in the centralized public procurements in the health sector.
