Work of service of phone assistance for children to be optimized in Moldova

Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - The service of free of charge phone assistance for children, managed by the Labour and Social Protection Ministry, will work based on the minimal quality standards and of a new Regulation, approved by the cabinet today. They will ensure the improvement of the quality of services provided, so that specialists intervene in time to prevent crisis situations, in which children can be involved, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

As a result, any child, parent or carer who needs psychological assistance, as well as any person willing to report cases of abuse, neglect or discrimination of children can call the number 116111 in the regime 24/7, in order to be able to benefit from support and counseling for free, confidentially and homonymously. The call can be made also through Skype -TelefonulcopiluluiMoldova116111 or online at www. telefonulcopilului.md.
