About 34 million lei turned to account for projects in Moldova's North Region in first half of 2022

Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - The North Regional Development Agency (ADR Nord) in the first half of this year turned to account 33.94 million lei (about 1.7 million euros) in the process of implementation of 18 projects in Moldova’s North Development Region.
The ADR Nord director, Maria Prisacari, informed about the most important results achieved by the Agency in the first quarter of this year. The report unveiled by the ADR Nord head reads that, on the concerned period, 11 projects on regional development, financed from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL), were launched for implementation. In this respect, ADR Nord turned to account 2.61 million lei. On the same reporting period, ADR Nord specialists were involved in activities of implementation of four projects financed by the European Union, using 22.57 million lei to this end.
At the same time, ADR Nord in the first half of 2022 managed another 3 projects financed by the governments of Germany, Estonia and other development partners, turning to account 8.77 million lei on this purpose. The projects implemented cover four sectors of intervention: water supply (7 projects); energy efficiency of public buildings (2 projects); business infrastructure (1) and tourist attractions (2) and urban development (3 projects).
