Petrol, diesel prices to decrease in coming days

Chisinau, Aug. 5 /MOLDPRES/- For the next three days, August 6-8, the maximum retail prices of the main standard oil products were set by the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) at the level of: 27.27 lei/liter - for petrol COR 95 (- 0.19 lei) and 26.66 lei/liter - for standard diesel (- 0.08 lei).

The period August 1-7 represents the seventh consecutive week of decline in retail prices for gasoline and the sixth for diesel.

"During that period, prices decreased by a weekly average of 0.95 lei/liter for COR 95 gasoline and 0.97 lei/liter for standard diesel," according to ANRE.

The decreases in fuel trading prices are still due to the decrease in Platts quotations for petroleum products registered on international exchanges.
