Over 6,000 people to participate in new local elections

Chisinau, August 19 /MOLDPRES/- More than 6,000 people are going to participate in the new local elections held on October 16, in three localities of the country.
According to the Central Electoral Commission, in the village of Sălcuta, Căușeni district, 3,725 voters will be waiting at the polls, in Ialpujeni commune, Cimișlia district - 1,276 and in Braniște commune, Râșcani district - 1,007 voters.
55 social-political formations and organizations can participate in the new local elections on October 16. Mayors are to be elected in the three localities.
