Moldovan deputy premier paid working visit to Talmaza village

Chisinau, August 19 /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian accompanied by representatives of the Political Bureau of Reintegration and the Territorial Office of the State Chancellery paid a working visit to Talmaza village, Ștefan Vodă district, and collected facts about the most urgent problems in the locality, the Bureau of Reintegration Policies has reported.

Productive discussions were held with the mayor, representatives of local public institutions, farmers, teachers and from the cultural sphere, local citizens.

Problems in the field of agriculture and ecology were addressed in the context of the crisis caused by the current year's drought, the difficulties faced by teachers and staff in the field of education and culture, the need to provide quality and accessible medical services, the projects implemented at the local level aimed at promoting youth policies and the promotion of trust measures between both banks of the Dniester.

Thanks were given for the projects financed through the program of activities for the reintegration of the country, the village of Talmaza receiving in this sense a budget of 1.23 million lei for the implementation of 6 projects of community interest (street lighting, setting up a playground in the park, improving the purification and sewage system at the Multipurpose Cultural Center).

The Deputy Prime Minister mentioned that the problems stated during the working visit will be coordinated with the relevant national authorities and viable ways to solve them will be identified.

More active application with community development projects to assistance programs offered by international donors was encouraged.
