Works on several roofs affected by bad weather completed in Moldovan capital

Chisinau, August 22 /MOLDPRES/- The municipal services in Chisinau completed the repair work on several roofs of the housing blocks affected by the weather of August 9. The head of the General Housing and Development Directorate, Ion Burdiumov, made the statement at the operational meeting of the city hall services.

In total, requests came from citizens from 27 addresses, mainly from the Râșcani and Ciocana sectors. "The roofs made of slate sheets, in total 16 addresses, have been rehabilitated, and during the current week, work is to begin on the addresses with flexible roofs," said Burdiumov.

At the same time, the management of the department announced that a contract was concluded with an economic agent, who will start the repair work this week, for the repair work of the apartments in Branisti str. 5/6.

Also, last week, sanitation works were carried out, the sludge that formed in some yards in the Râșcani sector of the capital being accumulated.
