Moldovan parliament building lit up in colors of Ukrainian flag on neighboring country's Independence Day

Chisinau, August 25 /MOLDPRES/-Moldovan parliament building was illuminated yesterday evening in the Ukrainian flag's colors, as solidarity with the neighboring country, which marked Independence Day on 24 August.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations, Speaker Igor Grosu conveyed a message, saying that the Ukrainian people are invincible, free and dignified.
"Moldova stands by the Ukrainian people and will further support Ukraine as long as necessary. The free world will be with Ukraine until victory," Grosu said.
The speaker said that Ukraine continues to fight with boundless courage for the freedom and dignity of its people, but also for our freedom.
On 24 August Ukraine marked the National Day, which records the moment of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence from the USSR in 1991.
