Several cultural events to be held in Moldovan capital on Independence Day

Chisinau, August 25 /MOLDPRES/- Several cultural events will be held in Chisinau on 27 August when the 31st anniversary of the proclamation of the Independence of the Republic of Moldova is celebrated.
According to the government's communication and protocol department, the events agenda will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the laying of flowers at the Grieving Mother monument and at the monument of Stefan cel Mare, after which the country's leadership will participate in the inauguration festivities of the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova.
The symphony orchestra of the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic, the Presidential orchestra, the MAI orchestra, the Doina Academic Choir Chapel, the soloist Mariana Bulicanu, Lia-Ciocârlia music-choral studio, BrioSonores, Igor Podgoreanu, Cătălin Josan, violinists Alexandra Conunova and Ilian Gîrnet will perform on the stage of the Great National Assembly Square.
The program will culminate with the parade of military bands in the Great National Assembly Square. At 7:00 p.m., Cristofor Aldea-Teodorovici, Zdob and Zdub Band and Fluieraș Folk Music band will perform on the stage.
Events dedicated to Independence Day will take place in all localities in the country.
