Orheiul Vechi Reserve heritage to be restored under project supported by Romania

Chisinau, August 30 /MOLDPRES/- Cultural and historical heritage of the Orheiul Vechi Reserve in Moldova and George Enescu Memorial House in Liveni, Botoșani (Romania) will be restored under the cross-border project History and Music - values that bring us together, within the Joint Operational Program Romania - Republic of Moldova 2014-2020, the Ministry of Culture announced yesterday.

Representatives of the Office for the Management of External Assistance Programs paid a fact collecting visit to the Ministry of Culture to discuss with Secretary of State Ion Budeci and director of the Orheiul Vechi Cultural-Natural Reserve Ion Ciobanu about the goals and activities planned under the project.

The project is estimated at about 1.4 million euros and was obtained as a result of the partnership between the Botoşani County Museum of History, as a partner, and the Ministry of Culture of Moldova, as an applicant.
