Access of Dubăsari farmers to lands along Tiraspol-Camenca route extended until 31 December

Chisinau, 1 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Following the dialogue held at the level of political representatives in the process of negotiations on the Transnistrian settlement, the deadline for the application of the Protocol Decision on the access of farmers from the Dubăsari district to the agricultural lands located along the Tiraspol-Camenca route has been extended until 31 December 2022, the Reintegration Policy Office has reported.

The issue was also recently discussed at the meeting of experts from both banks of the Dniester in agriculture (https://gov.md/ro/content/asigurarea-accesului-nestingherit-si-continuu-la-terenurile-agricole- amplasate-dupa-traseul), with the request to exclude the previous 31 August deadline imposed by Tiraspol, to ensure unlimited, unconditional and sustainable access to the agricultural lands, located along the Camenca-Tiraspol route in order to travel without barriers to/from them, carrying out the necessary seasonal works, the unhindered transport of agricultural materials/equipment and the harvest.
