Chisinau, 1 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The 32nd edition of Saloons of Moldova competition exhibition was inaugurated yesterday at the Constantin Brâncusi Exhibition Center.
Fine Artists' Union's head Florina Breazu said that open for 32 years, the event managed to become a valuable cultural event, based on the collaboration of artists from the two banks of the Prut. Made thanks to the cooperation between the UAP from the two countries, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova, Chisinau City Hall and cultural institutions from Romania, the exhibition presents to the public about 90 works of contemporary plastic art.
The event appears with a new concept, dictated by the current geopolitical circumstances. Thus, both the public and the artists are invited to an exercise of cultural mapping or quasi-virtual scoring of the works that did not end up being presented at the Constantin Brâncusi Exhibition Center.
The exhibition will be open until 18 September.
