Moldovan president attends Bookfest International Book Fair on Romanian Language Day

Chisinau, 1 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu participated yesterday on Romanian Language Day in the fifth edition of the Bookfest Chisinau International Book Fair, the presidential press service has reported.

"I warmly greeted the participants and visitors of the International Book Fair Bookfest Chisinau 2022, to which I granted patronage together with Mr. Klaus Iohannis, President of Romania. I was happy to see so many friends of the Romanian book, of all ages, on the day when we all celebrated the Romanian Language", said Maia Sandu.

In this context, the president urged reading lovers to go to Bookfest to discover authors and quality books for all tastes and all ages.
