Two former employees of Moldova-Gaz to be investigated for fictitious employment

Chisinau, 5 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Two former employees of Moldova-Gaz will be investigated for the fictitious employment of a man, who benefited from a salary of over 800 thousand lei (about 41 thousand euros).
According to PCCOCS, the fictitious employment took place in 2016-2019. The law enforcement officers established that the "curators" of the fictitious employee were an ex-vice president and a member of the Board of Directors of the aforementioned enterprise. Thus, in the three years, the fictitious employee who had the qualification of gas measurement specialist was remunerated with over 800 thousand lei.
The three men will appear before judges on suspicion of abuse of office and fraud, which are punishable by eight to 15 years in prison.
