Moldovan government approves construction of road of access to Chisinau Arena

Chisinau, 14 September /MOLDPRES/ - A road in the direction Chisinau-Orhei road (R6 national road) will be constructed, in order to ensure the access to the Chisinau Arena complex. A decision to this effect was approved at a cabinet meeting today. The financial means, worth 24 million lei, will be earmarked from the government’s reserve fund.  

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the new road will comprise an entrance for the special and emergency transport; stop for public transport with its connection through sidewalk meant for pedestrians and disabled people; deceleration/acceleration lane; street illumination.   

The works will be carried out by the state enterprise, State Administration of Roads, which will organize the tender for contracting the construction works.  

After the works are finished, the road of access to the national interest object, Polyvalent Arena, will be switched to the management of the Arena Nationala ltd company, in which the Public Property Agency holds the membership interest of 100 per cent.
