Moldovan deputy premier paid working visit to Vadul-Rașcov village

Chisinau, 16 Sep. /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian accompanied by representatives of the Reintegration Policy Office paid a working visit to Vadul-Rașcov village, Șoldănești district on Thursday.

According to the Reintegration Policy Office, during the discussions with the representatives of the local public administration, the Territorial Office of the State Chancellery, teachers, heads of institutions, economic agents and the inhabitants of the village the official exchanged views on current issues such as: the development of local infrastructure, the support of business initiatives in the countryside, the modernization of public institutions, the provision of localities with modern quality drinking water supply systems and access to quality public services.

Also, the deputy prime minister urged the local public authorities to be more actively involved in working out projects with impact to the development of the infrastructure in the locality and for the benefit of the population.

The projects financed through the program of activities for the reintegration of the country and implemented in Vadul-Rașcov village were assessed. The locality benefitted so far from a budget of over 1 million lei for implementation of projects of community interest (public street lighting, renovation of pavilions and playgrounds at the Dumitru Matcovschi Gymnasium, the renovation of Dumitru Matcovschi House-Museum).

The official visited the Dumitru Matcovschi Gymnasium, the Dumitru Matcovschi House-Museum, the House of Culture, and collected facts about the current needs and issues.

The deputy premier assured that the issues will be forwarded to the competent authorities to be considered and settled.
