Emergency Commission set new rules for 2022-2023 hunting season

Chisinau, 16 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Hunting will be allowed exclusively on open lands, within the limits of the harvest quotas approved for 2022-2023 hunting season, according to yesterday's decision of the Commission for Emergency (CSE).
The CSE members ordered that shooting and carrying a loaded weapon will be prohibited at a distance of less than 10 km from the state border with Ukraine, as well as at a distance of less than 2 km from the outskirts of the municipalities of Chisinau and Balti and from 1 km from the outskirts of any other localities.
At the same time, during the state of emergency, it is forbidden for foreign citizens to bring weapons and ammunition into the country to participate in hunting.
The state of emergency in the Republic of Moldova was extended by 60 days, starting from 8 August. The state of emergency in the Republic of Moldova was established on 24 February with the outbreak of the war in Ukraine.
