Collections of income tax from leasing real estate increasing in Moldova

Chisinau, 16 September /MOLDPRES/ - The collections of income tax from private people who lease real estate increased by 22.2 per cent in the first 8 months of 2022 against the same period of the year before and amount to 25.4 million lei.

According to the State Fiscal Service (SFS), during January-August this year, 4,022 private people leasing real estate were identified. ‘’The following payments were additionally calculated at the budget at 368 private people who lease real estate: basic payments worth 219.1 thousand lei, delay increase of 15.5 thousand lei and fines were imposed worth 32.7 thousand lei,’’ SFS said.

As many as 12,535 contracts on leasing real estate were registered during this year.
