Over 3,800 cases of infection with COVID-19 recorded last week

Chisinau, 20 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Health announced that last week 3,840 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were registered in the country, down by 233 cases than in the previous week.

30,557 tests were performed and 13 deaths were recorded.

Also, 309 people received their first dose of the anti-COVID vaccine, and 1,093 received their third dose. In total, so far 1,071,170 people have been vaccinated with the full schedule.

Starting from July, citizens can administer their Booster 2 dose of the vaccine against COVID-19. At the same time, it is possible to vaccinate children who have reached the age of 12.

Specialists also recommend people to wear a protective mask in crowded public spaces and on public transport. At the same time, wearing it is mandatory in medical institutions.
