Moldovan head of state meets Slovakian president

Chisinau, 21 September /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu had met President of Slovakia Zuzana Čaputova in New York. The two heads of state discussed the consolidation of the Moldovan-Slovakian relations and the security situation in the region.

According to the presidential press service, the Moldovan head of state thanked President Čaputova for the humanitarian assistance received by Moldova in the last spring, meant for the management of the crisis of refugees from Ukraine. Maia Sandu also expressed gratitude for the support by Slovakia of Moldova’s European aspiration, as well as for the assistance received through the Slovak Aid Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation during years.
