Romanian Film Days start in Chisinau today

Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/ - The newest Romanian productions, which were awarded prizes at the Cannes, Venice and San Sebastian festivals, could be watched at the eighth edition of the cinematographic event, Romanian Film Days (ZFR) in Chisinau, due on 22-25 September.
At a today’s news conference, the head of the Association of Independent Cinema Men ALTERNATIVE CINEMA, Dumitru Grosei, who is one of the event’s organizers, said that, for the first time ever, ZFR Chisinau would be held at two movie cinemas - Cineplex Loteanu and Cinema Odeon. Just as so far, the entrance to the events will be for free and the screenings will be accompanied by discussions with numerous cinema men guests: film directors, actors, producers, image directors and critics.
ZFR Chisinau is an event organized by the Association of Independent Cinema Men ALTERNATIVE CINEMA from Moldova and the production house ROVA FILM from Romania. The project is carried out with the support of the Department for Relation with Moldova, Moldovan Culture Ministry, National Cinematography Centre from Moldova, Mihai Eminescu National Cultural Institute and Romania’s Filmmakers Union.
