Moldovans to travel to Qatar without visas

Chisinau, 22 September /MOLDPRES/ - The ratification of the agreement concluded between the governments of Moldova and the State of Qatar on the abolition of the short-stay visas for the holders of ordinary passports was adopted in parliament today.
Thus, the holders of ordinary passports will be able to enter, transit or stay on the territory of the State of Qatar or Moldova for a period of up to 90 days during 180 days. The condition is that the purpose of the stay should be tourism, transit or business interest. People who plan to exceed this term will have to get a long-stay visa.
So far, Moldova has signed 13 bilateral agreements with the State of Qatar, which regard the mutual travels for the holders of diplomatic and special passports.
