Non-commercial organizations to be able to get funding for projects of public interest from national, local budgets

Chisinau, 23 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- At today's meeting the government approved the Framework Regulation on the non-reimbursable financing mechanism for the projects of non-commercial organizations, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The new regulation allows non-commercial organizations to get funding for public interest projects from the national budget and local budgets. The central and local public administration will be able to plan financial means for carrying out the projects.
The regulation sets the procedure for conducting the competition, the evaluation procedure, selection, settlement of appeals, the procedure for concluding contracts and implementation, coming with model documents that can be applied by the authorities in the process of running the competitions.
The approval of the regulation is one of the measures undertaken by the government in the context of the European Commission's note following the request for accession and obtaining the status of a candidate country for the European Union.
