Public lecture on conflicts in Black Sea region held in southern Cahul city

Chisinau, 23 September /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian today gave a public lecture on the conflicts in the Black Sea region to students and teachers of the Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu State University from the southern Cahul city, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.
The lecture took place following a visit to Cahul by the deputy PM at the cabinet meeting.
In his speech, Oleg Serebrian referred to the current situation in the Transnistrian settlement process, challenges faced by Moldova, in the context of the war in Ukraine and the fact which are the priorities for the next period.
The students showed interest in the Transnistrian subject and a question-and-answer session was held at the end of the lecture.
The Cahul-based Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu State University is a public institution founded in 1999, the goal of which is to educate and provide the settlements from southern Moldova with highly qualified staff. The University has three faculties: Faculty of Humanistic and Pedagogical Sciences, Faculty of Law and Public Administration and the Faculty of Economy, Engineering and Applied Sciences.
