Chisinau, 23 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration ordered the extension of the program of the consular section of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the Russian Federation on days off.
According to the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Moscow, the decision was taken in connection with the considerable increase in the number of applications for the completion of travel documents at the embassy's consular section.
"The authorities are also examining the possibility of redeploying diplomatic staff for consular activities in the event of continued increased demand from the citizens of our country," a press release from the embassy said.
The authority said that the travel document can be used only once to return to the Republic of Moldova, if the passport has been lost, expired or stolen.
