Over 2,400 cases of COVID-19 recorded last week

Chisinau, 27 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Health announced that 2,414 cases of infection with the new coronavirus were recorded in the country last week, down by 1,400 compared to the previous week.

During the same period, 29,160 tests were performed and 23 deaths were recorded.

Also, 254 people took first dose of the COVID vaccine, and 984 - third dose. In total, so far 1,071,464 people have been vaccinated with the full schedule.

Starting from July, citizens can administer their Booster 2 dose. At the same time, it is possible to vaccinate children who have reached the age of 12.

Specialists also recommend people to wear a protective mask in crowded public spaces and public transport. At the same time, wearing it is mandatory in medical institutions.
