Moldovan government approves appointment of Alexandr Esaulenco as Ambassador to Azerbaijan

Chisinau, 29 September /MOLDPRES/ - The government today approved the appointment of Alexandr Esaulenco to the office of Moldova’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan.
Alexandr Esaulenco has degree in law and during 23 years worked at the Intelligence and Security Service (SIS) as intelligence office, head of department, SIS deputy director and director. So far, Esaulenco has been ambassador-at-large at the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry.
At the same time, the cabinet approved the resignation of the director of the National Agency for Research and Development, Olga Tagadiuc, who submitted an application to this end. Her powers will be exercised by the head of the Agency’s innovation projects department, Vadim Iatchevici, starting from 30 September 2022.
