Moldovan parliament speaker has meeting with NATO official

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu on 30 September discussed the security developments in the region and the need to enhance Moldova’s resilience with Deputy Assistant of the NATO Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Javier Colomina, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The parliament speaker stressed the importance of the cooperation within the programmes agreed upon in the Moldova-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan, especially for the military reform, cyber security and misinformation. ‘’The North Atlantic Alliance is a reliable partner of Moldova and during years we have carried out more projects for the benefit of the ordinary citizens,’’ Igor Grosu noted.
The officials also referred to Moldova’s neutrality status in the new international context, as well as the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
