Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ - A Polish-Ukrainian exhibition titled, Mom, I Don’t Want War!!!, was inaugurated at the National History Museum of Moldova on 30 September.
According to the organizers, in September 1939, the World War II started. Eighty three years later, we say NO to the new war! Thus, along with the Embassy of Poland in Chisinau and Ukraine’s Embassy in Moldova, the National History Museum of Moldova inaugurated an exhibition which shows us the war seen through eyes of children. ‘’We are willing to continue to back Ukraine and its citizens. Our countries thus express support for Ukraine on these difficult days of the war,’’ reads a communique submitted by the aforementioned museum.
The exhibition presents historical drawings of Polish children in 1946, which records their experience during the World War II and the German occupation in the 1939-1945 years, as well as contemporary drawings of Ukrainian children about the war which presently takes place in Ukraine and which can be found on the portal, Mom I see war.
The exhibition can be seen on the fence of the National History Museum (31 August Street, 121 A) till 31 October.
