Moldovan PM meets National Defence minister of Romania

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita today met National Defence Minister of Romania Vasile Dincu. The officials discussed the cooperation between the two countries, which reached a high degree of rapprochement in more fields. The sides also referred to subjects of regional security, in the context of the war in Ukraine, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported. 

The prime minister said the authorities were further making efforts to manage the impact of the war on Moldova, as well as to reform the institutions and modernize the country. In this respect, the PM highly appreciated the support of the Romanian government, which backs Moldova in overcoming numerous crises, contributes to the social and economic development of the country, implementation of the democratic reforms and achieving the fundamental goal of Moldova’s European integration.
