Botanica Territorial Medical Association of Chisinau city to benefit from ultrasound machine bought by Japanese government

Chisinau, 4 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Botanica Territorial Medical Association (AMT Botanica) of the Chisinau city will benefit from an ultrasound machine purchased by the government of Japan, through the Kusanone Grants Programme for Human Security.
The contract on procurement of the medical equipment, worth 80,745 dollars, was signed at the headquarters of the Health Ministry today and it will enhance the capacities of diagnosis of the Botanica Territorial Medical Association through the purchasing of an advanced ultrasound machine with the duty of Elastography.
„I want to congratulate AMT Botanica, which worked a lot for the elaboration of this grant proposal. I am sure that you will make maximal effort, in order to successfully finish the project set and the ultrasound machine will be used efficiently for the benefit of the Chisinau residents and the people from Ukraine, who found here refuge following the unleashing of the war,’’ Japan’s Ambassador to Moldova Katayama Yoshihiro said.
The Kusanone programme was launched in Moldova in 2008. Till the signing of the present contract, the Japanese government has provided 78 grants worth 6.7 million dollars, of which 50 projects amounting to 4.4 million dollars were in the health sector.
