New Ambassador of Moldova to the Netherlands to be appointed

Chisinau, Oct. 5 /MOLDPRES/- Veaceslav Dobîndă is to be appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The parliamentary committee on foreign policy and European integration approved the document today.

Veaceslav Dobîndă is a career diplomat and has 22 years of experience in diplomacy and international relations. Currently, he works as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. Previously, he was Ambassador to Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.

According to the Law on the diplomatic service, the proposals regarding the appointment to the position of ambassador are submitted to the Government by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, with the consultation of the foreign policy and European integration commission.
