Moldova to get 900,000 euros from Council of Europe Development Bank

Chisinau, Oct. 5 /MOLDPRES/- Council of Europe Development Bank will offer the Republic of Moldova a grant worth 900 thousand euros. The money will be used to cover the expenses incurred by the health system in our country on medical assistance to refugees from Ukraine.

Today the members of the economy, budget and finance commission approved the report on the draft law for the ratification of the Grant Agreement between the Government of Moldova and the European financial institution.

The grant will be used by the Ministry of Health, through the National Medical Insurance Company, to finance the expenses, which had two components. The first is in the provision of healthcare services provided through medical institutions in the health system. The second refers to the healthcare services provided by the mobile teams delegated by the institutions.

The term of validity of the agreement is 31 January 2023.
