Tillers, tractors to be exempted from excise duties at import in Moldova

Chisinau, 6 October /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs  today approved, in the second reading, a legislative initiative which provides for the revising of the mechanism of taxation of certain transport means.

The document sees exclusion of excise duties on the import of agricultural and forest tillers and tractors, no matter their exploitation period.  

The amendments made to the Fiscal Code are aimed at increasing the incomes in the farming sector and promoting facilities at the export of agro-food products.
