"Beyond the current context, the crises we are facing and the war that is taking place on our country's border and affecting us, we are observing a change in industries at an international level. Investor preferences are shifting towards new industries such as electronics, biopharma, logistics services, remote services. If we do not comply with these requirements, we miss important opportunities. That is precisely why we have expanded the number of activities that can be practiced in the IT Park to develop the field of digitization, audiovisual, engineering designs. We want to provide opportunities for faster development. We want to establish a facilitated regime like the one enjoyed by IT Parc also in the field of remote services", said Minister Gaibu.
The official also pointed out the importance of holding regional business and investment forums to better present local investment opportunities, capacities and potential partnerships that can be developed in each of Moldova's regions.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Moldova recently approved amendments to the Law on Information Technology Parks. The changes allow IT Park residents to work remotely from any country. Also, the types of activities carried out within the park have been expanded. The new activities will stimulate foreign investments in our country in the field of cinematography, audiovisual, music industry and other related fields.
